Loved this debut novel. The story has some wonderful characters that I both loved and hated! It has romance, drama, humour and sadness. The characters were believable and I enjoyed the journey they all took in the book. I especially enjoyed the setting in the North East and beautiful Northumberland, both places close to my heart. I’d love to read those letters so please write a follow up soon Chrissie Bradshaw! A great summer holiday read, I can wholeheartedly recommend this book for a your next trip to the beach or curled up on your favourite chair.

I enjoyed this book, it was an easy / fast read. The characters were ‘normal’ & seemed ‘real’ if you get my gist!?! I usually read horror / crime / gore / murder stories, but I chose to read this as a bit of a lighter read, for a bit of a change & I wasn’t disappointed. The story went at a good pace and had a few different story lines going on at the same time, which was more than enough to keep me interested! I didn’t even miss the blood n gore!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the first chapter to the last. A perfect book to curl up with & unwind.
The story takes us on the journey of Cleo, Alex & Teri’s summer. Three generations of the Moon family. I found this to be refreshing an cleverly written as we hear from all perspectives – making the story appealing for readers of all ages.
My favourite character was Bobby (actually, make that 4 generations!) The special relationship formed between Bobby & Cleo was heartwarming, and I shed both happy and sad tears about that – without giving too much away!….Lastly, I would love a little glimpse of those letters! A brilliant first novel by Chrissie B, can’t wait for the next!
